More Wonderful Models

This young lady came into the shop with her family, they are on holiday, and her younger brother is called Tim.
Well I asked her if she would like to model this dress which was a work in progress.
As you can see she said yes.


I had promised people that the dress pattern would be on my web site by the end of today, so needed to work on one,
I pulled most of the above out and came up with the one here below, the pattern will ( the will is more for my benefit)be on before 12 midnight!!!!

This is Grace and she has just finished knitting this 'Elizebeth Zimmermans Adult Surprise Jacket' in the Rowan Kafe Fasset Yarn. It is truly amazing, don't you agree, - one clever lady!!

Selkirk Throws and the Sea

I just nipped down to the Harbour at St Abbs to see this. I just mentioned to someone there that I find it hypnotic, soothing, frightening.... all at once. I was supposed to take photos of Throws so I got one or two






These two throws are both Blue but one has a little green going through it.

Isn't this Cardi Lovely, It was knitted by Mrs Jean Weatherhead.
It is an Artesano Pattern and knitted is Artesano Inca Mist which Jean mentioned was so beautiful to knit with. Others have said the same.
The finished article is just soooo luxuriously soft.

'Knaked Knitting' at the knitting and stitching show

Well we had a great time at the knitting and stitching show,
all these 1kg balls went down v well, they were soooo colourful and such great fun to knit.
We knitted on our hands and arms - no needles hence 'Knaked Knitting'.
One ball could knit a dress or or ....










even/especially the young loved to knit this way




a great time was had by all

This is a Debbie Bliss Donegal Chunky Tweed 100% wool,recommended needle size 7mm and is £7.95 / 100g
I recommend using at least 2 strands of this at a time if making a no needle scarf
This is single ply slub yarn - 100% pure merino wool, recommended needle size 9 - 10mm and is £9.50 / 100g. we have these three colours in stock 69 - sunrise
